These Boot(ie)s Are Made For Walking

Philly Fashion Blogger

No more false alarms; Fall has arrived. It’s officially the season of scarves and sweaters and dark nails oh my. One of my favorite additions of autumn, however, is booties. I am a booties or sandals girl to the tee and there is no in between for me so at first breeze I was ready to pack away my flip flops. Something about the versatility of booties draws me to them continuously over shoes or full-fledged boots.

I’ve already stocked up on a few and my mini haul included these amazingly ornate Jessica Simpson booties that I could not wait to style.

I kept things simple by pairing them with Madewell’s super flattering ‘Roadtripper’ jeans, a plain black tank, my go to YSL Shopper Tote and this Marc Fisher blazer with gold buttons (which gave me major Balmain vibes) that I scored from Ross for $30 bucks! (similar here and here)

Despite the 4-inch block heel, I was extremely surprised at how comfy these booties were because although I love a cute shoe, functionality is equally important to me. I wandered throughout Queen Village for over an hour and still felt like I was walking on air.

Interestingly enough, these beauties left me craving even more bootie action. Here’s a quick Fall wish list of the ones I’m loving and lusting right now:
